Operate Now: Knee Surgery

Operate Now: Knee Surgery is a realistic surgery simulation game. Steve was trying to learn a new stunt on his skateboard, but he fell and twisted his knee. It’s hurting very badly, so he’s come to the hospital for help.

You’ll have to take an X-ray photograph to see what’s wrong with Steve’s knee. Steve has torn his meniscus, a fibrocartilaginous band inside the knee joint. This tear will not heal by itself and will need to be repaired with surgery. Time to wash your hands and head to the operating room for Steve's surgery!

How to play Operate Now: Knee Surgery?

This game has two game modes. First, play the game as a surgical intern. Your colleague, Lara, has performed this type of surgery lots of times. She’ll supervise you and tell you which surgical instruments you need. 

Follow realistic step-by-step instructions to help your patient. First, take your patient to the X-ray room and make an X-ray photograph of Steve’s knee. In the operating room, tap on the surgical instruments you need to pick them up.

You’ll have to operate with an arthroscope to look inside Steve’s knee. Remove the torn piece of the meniscus, and smooth out the ragged edge. Close up the incisions with sutures and cover the knee with bandages.

When you’ve successfully completed this surgery with Lara’s help, you unlock the expert mode. You can now try it again, without any instructions. Can you still remember how to do the procedure exactly the right way? Every time you make a mistake, you lose 100 points. If you make too many mistakes, your patient will be rushed to the E.R. and you lose the game!
