Operate Now: Eye Surgery is an educational surgery simulator game. At the start of the school year, Marie notices that she can’t see so well. Can you help her regain her vision?

Marie is diagnosed with cataracts, an eye condition that makes the lens cloudy and causes everything to look dim and hazy. Cataracts more often occur in older people, but in rarer cases a young person can also develop cataracts.

Marie needs cataract surgery. During this procedure, you will carefully remove the clouded lens from Marie’s eye, and replace it with an artificial lens.  

How to play Operate Now: Eye Surgery?

This game has two game modes. First, play the game as a surgical intern. Your colleague, Lara, has performed cataract surgery lots of times. She’ll supervise you and tell you what to do. Follow realistic step-by-step actions to help your patient.

Lara will explain each stage of the surgery, and which instruments you need. Tap on the right surgical instruments to pick them up. Then, tap on the areas marked with the circles to perform the right actions. 

You’ll have to use a saline solution to carefully separate and remove the clouded lens. Next, you’ll insert the artificial lens, and cover Marie’s eye with an eyepatch so that it can heal properly.

After you’ve successfully completed this surgery, you can unlock the expert mode. You can now try the eye surgery again, but without Lara’s help. Can you still remember how to do the procedure exactly the right way? 

Every time you make a mistake, you lose 100 points. If you make too many mistakes, your patient will end up in the E.R. and you lose the game!
